Event Description

On Friday July 11th, the Roane School of Isshinryu Karate will host Master Tony Williams, Master Jeff Lusk, and Mr. Josh Jessie from the Lebanon Dojo for a kumite/sparring workout. The Lebanon Dojo has always been known as one of the most successful competition kumite schools in the region, with Master Williams approaching 50 years of fighting experience. Tony, Jeff, and Josh have some concepts and strategies specifically applicable to tournament fighting to share. Anyone going to the Isshinryu Hall of Fame the following weekend will benefit from this pre-event workout and those who aren’t will have an opportunity to learn new self-defense techniques.

1. The workout will start at 6:00 p.m. EST at the Roane School of Isshinryu, 318 Trenton Street, Harriman, Tennessee.
2. Doors will open at 5:30. Please be dressed and ready by 6:00.
3. There is no charge.
4. Practitioners from all styles and organizations are always welcome at the Roane School of Isshinryu.
5. Participants must be at least 12 years of age.
6. Mouth guard and groin cup (for boys) required. Please don’t forget, as those without won’t be able to fully participate.
